Life Insurance
One, frequently overlooked, way to give to a charity is through life insurance. If you have a policy that you no longer need to provide for your family, why not make Catholic Charities the beneficiary of the policy. This gift makes the proceeds of the policy tax deductible for estate tax purposes. Or, a new policy can be purchased with Catholic Charities named as owner or beneficiary.
