Failure Rate of Contraceptive Methods
The following list of contraceptive methods shows the percentages of unintended pregnancies within the first year of contraception use. Failure refers to "typical use" which means the failure of these techniques when used by groups of people who were questioned about the protection they received from each contraceptive method.*
